Ethos is a decentralized, Bitcoin-like network for storing and sharing personal data. We think that the paradigm for personal data storage is changing. Instead of online companies storing our personal data in non transparent ways, people should have transparency, control and ownership over their data.

What Bitcoin has done for currency and BitTorrent for media, Ethos does for personal data.
