ZepDroid is a long distance Android powered Zeppelin. It is connected through 3G connectivity to the Internet (and might know how to auto navigate in the future). The remote control interface is exposed as a web interface, which allows moving the Zeppelin in six directions and receiving frontal images from the Android camera.
This prototype was presented in several conferences, including Geekcon 2012 and DLD TLV 2012
Co-formulated the idea and concept, coordinated all team members, identified required features, wrote the Ardunio embedded firmware, the Android-Ardunio communication bridge and control and co-constructed the hardware.
